At the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office we are doing our best to ensure that the work of our office continues, and that we continue to timely and effectively serve the public and our clients as we attempt to protect the health and safety of the public and our staff during the declared COVID-19 emergency.
We are practicing social distancing. As a result, business is being conducted to the greatest extent possible by telephone or electronic means.
Safety precautions within the common pleas and municipal courts are being followed. This involves such things as conducting hearings by phone, video conferencing, and e-filing. Subject to court order, some hearings may be delayed. Please check the respective court’s website docket for a list of scheduled hearings and hearing statuses. Subpoena statuses issued by our office can be found on our website (in the above box labeled – click here for subpoena status).
We remain available by telephone to help those persons seeking civil protection orders. Please call our office at (740) 833-2690 to speak with our Victim Services Unit. They will assist callers in accessing and preparing the appropriate paperwork. If you are in immediate danger or need emergency assistance, please call 9-1-1.
