DELAWARE MAN INDICTED ON 16 COUNTS OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

March 7, 2019 – A Delaware County Grand Jury has returned a 16-count indictment against 37-year-old Brian Justin Eley.

Charges come after law enforcement received a cyber tip from the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.

The cyber tip came through to Delaware Police on January 3, 2019.

“The tip connected child pornography images with the photo-sharing service known as SmugMug-Flickr,” said Acting Prosecutor Christopher Betts. “The internet-based account was linked back to Mr. Eley.”

Police conducted a search warrant of Mr. Eley’s home. Eley is charged with 16 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material – all second-degree felonies.

An arraignment date for Eley has not yet been set.
