A Delaware County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against 33-year-old Philip A. Lohbauer, of Columbus.
Charges stem from reports that a man was inappropriately touching juveniles in the wave pool at Zoombezi Bay on the afternoon of June 18, 2018.
“Park staff said several juveniles stepped forward to report a man repeatedly positioning himself directly, and closely, behind girls in the wave pool,” said Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien. “The wave would push the girls into the man, who was identified as Philip Lohbauer.”
Lohbauer is charged with gross sexual imposition – a third-degree felony. An arraignment date has not yet been set.
